Nearly 60 years old, I’ve seen a number of careers. 10 years in the U.S. Navy, nearly 21 years with Intel Corporation, 3 years helping out at a new plant nursery and, since August 2005, as a line cook in a pizza restaurant.
It seems I’ve been cooking my whole life. My mother went back to work when my youngest brother entered school full time and I was tasked with helping to start the evening meal. At the moment I’m sharing a house with two other people, neither of whom cook.
Besides cooking, I knit, spin yarn, bike, hike, read and generally enjoy life.
